Image: My name is Jaylen Spellman-Reliford, and I am a senior double majoring in Cellular Biology and Microbiology. My research in Dr. Thomas Krunkosky’s lab focuses on the growth, differentiation, and barrier function establishment of airway epithelial cells, which are essential for protecting the lungs. Outside of the lab, I serve as the President for CBUSA, work as a Chemistry Learning Assistant, and volunteer at Piedmont Athens Regional.
